Growing up on a five-acre orchard in Dural, north west of Sydney, you could say planting and harvesting fruit and veggies is in my blood.
As a child nothing could beat the taste of a tomato my dad planted, watered and watched lovingly. Not much has changed as an adult, I still get a thrill every time I pick fresh chillies from my trees. This fed my insatiable love for fresh produce and I know first hand the efforts behind producing food with superior freshness and taste.
What began as a love of growing, harvesting and cooking with my family later became a career as I studied Food Technology at University. This laid the foundations of a successful career spanning over 25 years in the flavour & ingredients industry.
My passion for travel and seeking new experiences led me to explore many different places and cultures. Eating my way across the globe has most certainly enriched both my life and my food journey.
Armed with my ability to discern aromas and flavours, my passion for how food makes people feel and the sensory memories associated with food, I started making products with the surplus of fruits and vegetables from my family orchard.
Seasons Collective was born out of love, legacy and the fruits of my parents’ labour which inspired a means of showcasing the family orchard and Mum’s recipes. It has evolved into innovative ways of heroing seasonal ingredients with the growing focus of supporting local and minimising waste front of mind.
Every jar is made in small batches by hand in my Sydney kitchen which maintains consistent, authentic and quality taste.
Seasons Collective has cultivated a following in the Hills District. As the business has grown, I have participated as a stall-holder in a number of local growers markets where customers have the chance to taste first-hand the delicious products. My products are also now available through our online shop.
